Revert since October 2016 Divorced. 2 grown boys. I like the simple life. No drama. I prefer learning about my deen verses shopping. I work as an office manager. Money isn't everything but fearing Allah is. I am teaching myself to read Arabic so I can read and understand the Holy Qur'an. I love to learn about islam every day. I fear Allah, I pray 5 times a day, read Qur'an fast and give sadaqa.

I've been to Egypt and I love it. I think about living in an arab country, but probably would prefer to visit or travel instead of living abroad since I would probably miss my family.
I love the idea of eating as Arabs do, on the floor and drinking Arabic coffe or tea/chai.

I don't listen to music. Only Qur'an or Islamic lectures. I don't watch tv. Or movies. I like watching things that are educational on YouTube only.
I have a very calm nature and almost never get angry. I need a husband who is calm as well. ***No hot tempered men. ***
Just know I'm simple. I don't want extravagance. I don't like to go shopping at malls or buy the newest designer clothing or shoes or purse. That money is better spent fi sabilliah.... In sadaqa.

Fun, like to laugh and joke. I love learning about anything. History, geography, culture and of course islam. I try to learn as much as I can. I read about sahaba, our prophet s.a.w. I read tafsir ibn kathir when I don't understand something in Qur'an.

I didn't wear hijab the first 2 years but now always wear hijab and I absolutely love it. Im proud to be muslim and to show others that a Muslim is NOT as they see on the media. Im very friendly towards (it's just part of my nature) but even more so now as part of my own dawah.

What I Am Looking For
IM LOOKING ONLY FOR A PRACTICING MUSLIM. SALAH, READ AND FOLLOW QUR'AN AND SUNNAH. For any who don't do these things, don't waste your time or mine.
Simple, humble. Mild tempered.
I am a very mild tempered person and I need someone who is similar. If you have anger problems or can't control your temper or get mad easily, don't bother.
Education and job is necessary, but what job you hold or your education level does not determine the person you are or your values, it shows only your circumstances. I'm not college educated. So if you want a college educated wife who is career minded, that's not me. I hold a decent job that pays the bills and allows for me to give to others and pamper myself once in awhile. Im happy. I want a man who will be my best friend. One who can sit with me and have a very intellectual conversation and agreeing to disagree on our opinions. And still end the conversation with love for the other.
I don't want a workaholic. I understand we need to work to provide for our needs and wants. But I want to spend time with my husband. He will be my joy. I want to be as happy to see him after 10 years of marriage as the first day we were married.
I dont want a husband who is sitting next to me looking at his phone instead of talking to me. And the same for me. My attention will be to my husband.
I need someone who can calmly discuss conflicts. Hear my side and i will hear his side. And in shaa Allah we can come to an understanding.
I dont want a husband who thinks he has all control and rights over me. At least not as a power struggle situation. Let's talk. I'm easy going and understanding. Most of the time all I need is to have my voice heard and considered.
